A Dorset tailor has teamed up with Gareth Gates to supply the singer and musical theatre star with suits for his stage shows and public appearances around the globe.

Fox Tailoring, which offers made-to-measure menswear at its showroom in Compton Acres, Poole, is working with the performer to make ten show-stopping suits for his worldwide performances.

John Parrett, owner of Fox Tailoring said: “I’m delighted to be working with Gareth to supply his show suits.

“Fox Tailoring has always prided itself on offering men of all ages the chance to dress uniquely and in a way that reflects their personality.

“Designing suits for Gareth’s gigs is really exciting and allowing us to be even more creative with fabrics and attention to detail.

“He is also helping us reach a new audience of younger men who are keen to copy this fashionable suit look. “

Gareth Gates shot to fame on the first ‘Pop Idol’ TV talent show in 2002.

He has sold more than 5m records worldwide and enjoyed five number 1 hit singles.

The pop star said: “How you look as a performer is so important.

“The suits from Fox Tailoring allow me to feel smart yet edgy thanks to the funky fabrics and great styling.”
