Welcome aboard Saffery Champness!

We’re well chuffed to announce that the leading firm of chartered accountants and business advisers is our new Accountancy Partner.

Saffery Champness joins fellow partners Frettens Solicitors (Legal) and Fireworx (Digital) with the identity of our fourth, and final, partner officially revealed in the coming days.

To mark the partnership we were delighted to present Saffery Champness Partner, Jamie Lane, with a framed certificate.

Jamie said: “We are incredibly proud to be able to partner with Dorset Biz News, after seeing the website grow considerably since its launch.

“We have been featured many times over the past couple of years and see many of our clients contribute to great positive news stories that demonstrate what a great part of the world Dorset is to do business.

We look forward to working with our fellow partners to support the wider business community alongside Dorset Biz News.”

With a heritage going back to 1855, the services of Saffery Champness’ Bournemouth office extend across the full spectrum of commercial accounting, tax and business advisory disciplines.

The team, headed by Roger Wareham, Partner and Head of Office, pictured left, provides advice to organisations and individuals over a wide geographical spread.

The portfolio of clients includes all aspects of business activity including property, tourism, owner-managed businesses and the agricultural sector.

Latest figures for Dorset Biz News – launched in October 2019 with a zero audience and zero name recognition – show that we now have 21,366 unique users, +20% year-on-year.

Our stats, including audience demographics, can be found here.

Apart from Fireworx, Frettens Solicitors and Saffery Champness, we’re proud to have many of Dorset’s best-known names and brands among our commercial supporters.

They include Coleman Marine Insurance, Darren Northeast PR, Goadsby, Lewis-Manning Hospice Care, Ouch Training Team, Poole Harbour Commissioners, Star Tech and ViewHR.

To them – and to you, our amazing readers – thank you.
