Award-winning full service agency CHS has announced two new appointments to its leadership team.

After more than 25 years at the Christchurch-based agency, current MD Steve Keats is moving into the new role of Chair of the Board.

His position is taken by Chris Southgate.

Both changes take effect from today, October 1.

Chris joined CHS in 2009 to lead a growing digital team.

He has since been instrumental in winning pitches for key client accounts including HSBC, Allianz and Mastercard.

Chris said: “Over the past 11 years, I’ve had the absolute privilege to be part of the team here at CHS, working with some of the most talented, creative, incredible people I’ve ever met.

“I could not be more excited about our next chapter.

“In the past year, we’ve added more household names to our client roster, grown and strengthened the team and have been shortlisted for Agency of the Year by Marketing Week.

“For an agency that many may not have heard of, we’re certainly doing something special.”

As the new Chair of the Board, Steve will continue to support Chris and the wider CHS team.

He said: “I am delighted that Chris will be stepping up to Managing Director as I take a step back, although I won’t be going anywhere.

“I’ll still be actively involved as Chair of the Board, setting and implementing our strategy and direction, and of course, supporting Chris in his new role.”

CHS, a creative marketing agency, employs more than 50 people.

Services include strategic planning, publications, branding and integrated campaigns which combine videography, photography, direct marketing, web design and advertising.

As reported on Dorset Biz News, the company was shortlisted for Agency of The Year at this year’s Marketing Week Masters.
