Awards return bigger and better to celebrate businesses making BCP ‘coast with the most’

They’re back – and set to be bigger and better than ever!
The Destination Management Board – Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole Tourism Awards are returning in 2022.
Nineteen awards recognising true excellence in the businesses that make Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole a great place to visit, live and work.
The official launch will take place in February and the closing date for entries is July 2022.
Finalists will be announced in September with the gala evening and presentation of awards in November.
The management and delivery of the awards is to be led by Tim Seward, pictured left, who represents the accommodation sector on the Destination Management Board.
He will be supported by a small group of Board members, including representatives from BCP Council, as well as David Bailey and Craig Mathie, respectively Chair and Vice Chair of the Board who will head up the judging process.
Tim will be using a local production company to help deliver the launch in February, semi-finalist event in September and the actual awards ceremony in November.
He said: “I am very pleased and honoured to have been given the opportunity to be the new main lead for the Destination Management Board Tourism Awards 2022.
“I look forward to making next year’s awards the best the area has seen in a number of years.”
