A framed shirt for Manchester United starlet Alejandro Garnacho looks set to be a game changer for football lover Jack Pyne’s business.
To mark the 18-year-old’s first goal in the Premier League, Poole-based The Shirt Framing Service (TSFS) came up with the idea of including footage within the frame.
The video element is actually a digital photo frame and can be operated via an app on the football player’s phone.
Two hours of video footage can be included but the goal was the special moment Alejandro wanted to be captured.
Jack, who founded TSFS six years ago and has official tie-ups with six football clubs, said: “As far as I know we’re one of the first to include this feature.
“I would like to think it will be something of a game changer for us.
“It’s going to allow us to encapsulate personal memories and achievements in a visual format forever.
“We’re hoping to bring out a version for weddings which allows us to include personal mementoes from recently married couples’ special days.
“Our frames will take our customer back to that special moment at the touch of a button.”
Jack, 31, employs six people with customers worldwide and annual sales forecast to hit half a million pounds.
As well as football shirts, the innovative business, based on Poole’s Nuffield Industrial Estate, frames all types of sporting memorabilia.
It has also introduced new services including framed vinyls for music bands.
Jack said: “2022 turned out great and we are making big changes to help us get through the quiet months of the year.
“We turned it around in eight hours for Alejandro as the Royal Mail strikes delayed all the post .
“Since we finished it, we have had a number of enquiries for season reviews and goal montages from amateur and professional clubs and players.
“The video option can be included on the majority of our products.”
