Creative agency’s work recognised and shared by HM Government
A reopening campaign for Hall & Woodhouse’s pubs has led to a creative branding agency receiving official recognition from HM Government.
The Cabinet Office shared a video from Bournemouth-based Global Brand Communications as an example of communications excellence.
The award-winning company works closely with Hall & Woodhouse and was tasked with helping the business to showcase the reopening of its pubs earlier this month.
Darren Mooney, Founder and Creative Director, pictured left, said: “Together we produced a considered campaign to communicate that Hall & Woodhouse managed public houses would be reopening in a very safe and controlled way.
“It underlined the fact that the very highest levels of hospitality would continue to be consistently delivered across all of its managed houses, with the safety of all guests and team members being an absolute priority.
“We produced a variety of digital and printed assets to use across the 53 houses including an engaging video advising would-be guests on what to expect when visiting a Hall & Woodhouse.
“Being contacted by the Cabinet Office was a real commendation of the work.
“They had become aware of the campaign and wanted to use our design assets, both internally and to share with other organisations across the UK.
“We were flattered that the Cabinet Office posted on Linkedin and Twitter, highlighting the work as an example of excellence in Covid-19 communications.
“It’s great recognition for my brilliant and talented people, and to the forward-thinking team at Hall & Woodhouse.”

Company offers product certified as effective against coronavirus
A Ferndown janitorial and cleaning supply company is offering a product that is certified as being effective against coronavirus.
STERiZAR is an alcohol free anti-bacterial solution with a range of products from hard surface cleaners and floor products, to hand products and dispensers.
It also kills viruses that are commonly found in the agricultural industry and can be used on fruit and vegetables to increase shelf life while being transported.
Family run TDB Supply Solutions Ltd, which was established ten years ago, now has the product in stock and is ready to ship to local businesses and facilities.
Phil Pike, Founder, pictured left, said: “We noticed a dramatic increase in orders across all of our stock since the WHO declared Covid-19 as a pandemic.
“We provide numerous products, such as gloves, social distance stickers, masks, fogging machines and more, but what was important to us was having a product that was effective against the virus.
“We were thrilled to learn that STERiZAR passed the certification that confirms it works against coronavirus, allowing schools, restaurants, offices and more to open and offer their staff a safe environment”

Donated computers will make “immediate, positive difference”
A Dorset charity has received a donation of three computers from Computers4Charity.
MYTime Young Carers helps young carers aged five to 25 with support, opportunities and friendship.
Penny Day, Development Manager, said: “We made a request to Computers4Charity after being contacted by the Dorset Young Carers Team at Dorset Council.
“They informed us of some young carers who had been struggling to access our popular MYTime@Home programme and online Youth Group as they did not have access to a computer.
“This had also impacted directly on their ability to engage with their school online learning programme.
“We know that having these computers will make an immediate, positive difference to their lives and education.
“It’s incredibly satisfying to be able to support these young people in this way.”
George Cook, Honorary CEO of Computers4Charity said, “We love what MYTime does, providing young carers with the support, friendship, respite, retreats and opportunities.
“What a fabulous charity and we are delighted to donate three laptops for their use.
“Everyone should be encouraged to dig deep and support such an important cause.”
Computers4Charity supports a diverse mix of charities in multiple sectors.
Safety and security of donations is paramount,
All computer items are 100 per cent tracked and traced, data wiped, safety tested, environmentally compliant and software licence legal.
