Adventure Attractions, which oversees Bournemouth Pier among other locations across the UK, has welcomed James Balcazar as its new group marketing manager.
James brings over 15 years of experience in branding, digital marketing and social media for the likes of Dr. Martens, BMW and Treasury Wine Estates.
He’s recently relocated from London to Bournemouth and hopes to transform the town into a year-round leisure and holiday destination.
“Bournemouth has such incredible potential,” said James, “from its stunning coastline to its vibrant community.
“I’m thrilled to be part of Adventure Attractions and to help drive forward some really exciting initiatives.”
James has already played a key role in the launch of the Castle Pantry cafe at Highcliffe and led celebrations for the 10th anniversary of RockReef climbing centre on the pier, holding a Mascot Challenge for local children.
“We have so much in the pipeline,” he added, “from special events to local loyalty programmes – all designed to offer something unique to our visitors.”
