Bournemouth-based PR and marketing agency the Inspiration Agency revealed it has expanded again.
In August this year, the firm acquired South Coast-based Darren Northeast PR, and just weeks later, has taken on staff and clients from Poole-based marketing agency Octima.
It has not acquired Octima Marketing but as of September has taken on some of the employees and clients of the company.
Louise Seager, Inspiration Agency’s founder, owner and creative director, said: “This is a very busy time for the Inspiration Agency having just acquired Darren Northeast PR, but when I was approached by Octima’s founder Sarah, who I have known for many years, the opportunity was too good to pass up.
“As with DNPR, The Inspiration Agency and Octima share very similar core values, so we are confident that the transition will be smooth for everyone involved. We are all very excited about the Octima team and clients joining us and looking forward to a bright future.
“This expansion means we can do even more for our clients, offering new services and greater capacity within the team.”
Founded in 2014 by Sarah Phillips, Optima Marketing specialised in B2B marketing for companies in the technology, safety and security industries.
This summer, when Sarah took the decision to wind up the business, jobs were offered to all Octima employees, with two accepting positions at the Inspiration Agency.
The majority of Octima’s clients have also chosen to move over to the Inspiration Agency.
Phillips said: “I am delighted that my talented team will be taking on new roles at the Inspiration Agency with Louise Seager and her wonderful team. I have no doubt they will flourish with her guidance and support.
I’m also pleased that so many of Octima’s brilliant clients have chosen, on our recommendation, to make the transition as well. It is a positive step forward for everyone, including me, as I pursue a new career pathway.”
