In celebration of International Women’s Day, female entrepreneurs will gather in Bournemouth next month for the seventh annual Momentum Day.
The event is designed to help women grow and sustain successful businesses in a way that aligns with their lives and values – without burning out.
Visitors can expect to hear from expert speakers and engage in hands-on workshops and networking.
While it’s based in Dorset and spotlights the region’s many thriving women-led businesses, the day now attracts attendees from across the country.
Founder Erin Thomas Wong is a long-time champion of a ‘life-friendly’ approach to business and was named among last year’s #ialso Top 100 Female Founders.
“Momentum Day isn’t just about business strategy,” she said.
“It’s about creating space to step back, reflect and connect with other women who truly understand the journey.
“It’s amazing to see how this event brings together local business owners alongside women from all over the UK who are craving this level of support and inspiration.”
Key sessions this year include a productivity workshop led by Erin and Dorset-based virtual assistant Carly Rose as they share practical strategies for time management, automation and streamlining business operations.
Communication coach Emily Plumtree will teach attendees techniques to improve their public speaking and build business relationships.
Self-acceptance coach Hannah Holt is set to lead a reflective workshop on embracing success and personal growth.
Wellbeing expert Sarah Scudamore is running sessions to boost energy and motivation throughout the day.
And Glenda Shawley of Fabulous Networking will host a guided networking session to help visitors make meaningful connections.
The event takes places on Thursday 6 March from 9.30am to 5pm at Marsham Court Hotel in Bournemouth.
