ViewHR, the Hampshire and Dorset-based human resources and employment law consultancy, has announced an exclusive event in collaboration with employment tribunal judge Stephen Wyeth.

On Wednesday, 19th June, 9am at Framptons in Ringwood, the event will delve into the intricate topic of SOSR (Some Other Substantial Reason) dismissals, offering valuable insights and practical guidance for employers navigating this complex area of employment law.

The event will spotlight the following key aspects:

  • Identifying factors that may constitute a SOSR dismissal.
  • Understanding the circumstances under which an employer might resort to a SOSR dismissal.
  • Exploring the procedural aspects involved in executing a SOSR dismissal.
  • Analysing real-life case studies to gain deeper insights into the application of SOSR dismissals.

With limited availability, participants are encouraged to secure their spots early to ensure participation. Interested individuals can reserve their place by booking here: https://www.eventbrite.com/e/unravelling-sosr-dismissals-seminar-tickets-880316358927?aff=oddtdtcreator

Stephen Wyeth brings a wealth of legal expertise to the event.

Before transitioning to the Bar in June 2010, Stephen accrued a decade of experience as a solicitor, starting from his qualification in 1999.

He possesses extensive knowledge in high-value claims related to discrimination, with a focus on disability issues, as well as various forms of unfair dismissal, including public interest disclosure claims.

Stephen was appointed as a fee-paid Employment Judge in 2009.

He has also served as an expert commentator on regional BBC television and radio, and frequently imparts his knowledge through lectures to local solicitors on legal strategy and legislative developments.
