Heavily subsidised course available to Dorset businesses
Small and medium sized Dorset businesses are being invited to book their place on a heavily subsidised course.
Bournemouth University Business School is to deliver the government-backed ‘Help to Grow: Management’ course.
Delivered by leading UK business schools accredited to the Small Business Charter, it includes 50 hours of in-depth training and 1:1 business mentoring to help businesses grow and innovate.
The 12-week programme starts on November 23 and is 90 per cent subsidised by the government.
As a result it costs only £750.
Businesses can take part around existing work commitments and access learning through a blend of online and face-to-face sessions.
Aimed at senior leaders in small and medium businesses, the course covers strategies for growth and innovation, leading high-performance teams and digital adoption, as well as financial management and responsible business practices.
By the end of the programme, attendees will develop a tailored business growth plan to increase productivity and grow revenue.
There will also be opportunities to hear from inspirational business leaders and learn alongside local peers, with access to a national alumni network.
Paul Scully, Small Business Minister, pictured right, said: “Seizing opportunity is what being a business leader is all about.
“Our Help to Grow Management Scheme gives entrepreneurs the chance to access the very best advice on how to innovate, reach new customers and boost profits.”
