Hendy Group has become the official motor partner at AFC Bournemouth.

The two parties will work closely together on a range of campaigns with Hendy branding visible in the stadium.

Hendy becomes the official motor partner following its acquisition of previous partner Westover.

The announcement coincides with the rebranding of all Westover dealerships with the Hendy name this month.

Mark Busby, Hendy’s Commercial Director, said: “We are thrilled to be involved with AFC Bournemouth at an exciting time on the pitch for them and an exciting time for us as the 24 dealerships in Dorset and Wiltshire become Hendy-branded.

“As a company we always like to be involved in the communities in which we operate and the link with Bournemouth is a perfect example of this.

“The Cherries are at the heart of the community with a huge following locally and we are extremely proud to be part of their story.”

AFC Bournemouth’s Commercial Director Rob Mitchell said: “We are delighted that Hendy Group will be continuing this partnership and we look forward to working closely together as the season progresses.

“We value our position in the community and Hendy share this ethos, so working together is a natural decision for us.”

As part of the partnership a number of players have already bought cars from the motor group, with winger Ryan Fraser most recently collecting the keys for his new vehicle.
