MW Events, which runs a series of local business awards across Dorset, has announced the next stage of its campaign which supports and promotes local businesses.

The East Dorset Gold Awards brings together the winners from the 2023 Business Awards the company holds in Bournemouth, Poole, Christchurch, Purbeck, Wimborne and Ferndown.

The winners of each category from those awards will be automatically entered and then judged against each other, culminating with an awards ceremony at lunchtime on Thursday 30th November at Broadstone Club.

Nigel Reeve from MW Events said: “The concept behind the awards is to promote the range and quality of local business.

“Our awards are not like the regular evening events. They are held at lunchtime, they are locally focused and most of all the winners are the stars of the awards, not the event.

“These ‘Gold’ awards are the next stage of that promotion, highlighting the excellence of our local companies. Our slogan for these awards is “Everyone’s a Winner’ and never has that been more true.

“The concept started back in 2020 and has now grown to 18 seperate awards across Dorset, each with its own local awards ceremony and winners.

“We recently launched our West Dorset version of these awards and the feedback has been incredible.”
