Weymouth gym First Class Fitness (FCF) is set to triple its size as it expands into new first floor premises.
The private members gym first moved into its premises at Southill shopping precinct in December 2018.
Now, following a £200,000 refurbishment, First Class Fitness is taking over the first floor of its building to account for its continued growth.
Initially founded in 2012, the gym is set to create up to five new jobs over the coming year, having already added two new personal trainers to take its headcount to nine.

It is holding an open day with a charity fundraiser on Saturday February 10 from 7.45am to 4pm to showcase its new facilities for members of the community as well as 200-strong client base.
The fundraiser will be in honour of former client Paul Fancy, who passed away last year, with proceeds in aid of Weldmar Hospicecare Trust.
Marcus Biles, FCF managing director, said: “We’re all incredibly excited about the opening.
“We have continued to successfully grow as a business yet our focus remains the same: helping people improve their lives.
“We are very much a community where everyone is a name and not number so we provide the highest quality facilities, which we feel our clients deserve and matches our quality of coaching.
“It is about taking a holistic approach all tailored to the individual and their own goals whether that is losing weight or dealing with a health condition such as lower back pain, diabetes a stroke, or a mental illness.”
Marcus, a former Wey Valley school student and Weymouth College lecturer, added: “As the leading private members and specialist personal training gym in the area, we have found that there is demand for high quality service and facilities.
“Our expansion represents the next phase of our strategic growth plan for the business, with benefits for the community and the local economy.”
The new first floor of the gym will include multiple sections including a specialist state of the art strength training area, a purpose built functional fitness room, a lecture room, more changing facilities, a coffee bar and other specialist training areas.
