Getting very much in the festive spirit is the team at MYTime Young Carers Charity.

MYTime provides young carers with a break at its outdoor centre in Worth Matravers, Dorset.

It’s an opportunity for young carers to have fun, make friends and to take some time for themselves.

Krista Cartlidge, MYTime Executive Director, said: “It’s a really valuable opportunity for young carers to meet other people who share some of their experiences.

“This can help to combat the loneliness young carers report feeling as a result of their caring responsibilities.

“We would be delighted to hear from businesses and organisations who would like to offer their support to us in 2020.

“We have ambitious plans and look forward to sharing them with you. Please do get in touch!”

There are currently an estimated 800,000 young carers in the UK, some as young as five.
