Festive staff at Dorset law firm Ellis Jones Solicitors spread some seasonal joy in aid of two children’s charities for Christmas.

They donned their wackiest woollies to take part in Save the Children’s Christmas Jumper Day, and used the occasion to hand over a haul of presents collected for Cash for Kids’ Mission Christmas appeal.

The law firm has five offices in Dorset – Bournemouth, Canford Cliffs (Poole), Christchurch, Swanage and Wimborne – as well as Ringwood and London.

Nigel Smith, Managing Partner, said: “It’s the seventh time we’ve joined in Christmas Jumper Day and the knitwear seems to get wackier every year.

“Many of our team members have also generously donated presents for the Cash for Kids appeal to make sure less fortunate children have a gift to open this Christmas.

“It’s a great way to get into the spirit of Christmas and have fun while supporting two very worthy children’s charities at the same time.”

Cash for Kids works with social services and other agencies to distribute gifts to disadvantaged children.

Sally Aitchison, Cash for Kids Managing Director, said: “A huge thank you to the team at Ellis Jones for supporting Mission Christmas.

“One in three children live in poverty across the UK. For these families, Christmas is a luxury they cannot afford.

“Every donation to Mission Christmas will be used to make Christmas Day different for children living in poverty.”
