Find your perfect apprenticeship at Bournemouth & Poole College’s Apprenticeships Unlocked

Bournemouth & Poole College is hosting an event to help would-be apprentices find their perfect placement.

Held at The Pavilion Theatre Ballroom on the 8th February, the event will give people the chance to find out more about apprenticeships, meeting leading local employers and get advice from experts, with the college’s apprenticeship team on-hand to give guidance.

A range of employers will be at the event, including:

  • Ocean Automotive
  • RHH Franks
  • Maguire Boats

  • Eaton
  • Hoburn
  • Kier
  • Oyster Yachts
  • Rockley Watersports
  • Yunex

In a statement, the college said: “The Apprenticeship route is a great way to gain industry experience and study towards a nationally recognised qualification, while earning a wage.

“Essentially, it’s a job with training and a qualification. So, you’ll earn money, develop your skills, add to your CV and experience, plus take a step up the career ladder.”

Bournemouth & Poole College is the largest apprenticeship provider in the area, working with more than 2,000 businesses across Dorset and the surrounding area.

They run over 30 different apprenticeships, with 98 per cent of apprentices gaining employment, including with their apprenticeship employer on a permanent basis.
