Five new trainees have been recruited by the Bournemouth office of a national accountancy firm boosting its numbers in the town to 67.

John Olejnik, Joseph Foard, Savannah Pinchen, Joseph Clark and Josiah Kenny have joined the audit and corporate tax teams of Saffery Champness.

The chartered accountants say the growth of the team is a result of an increase in clients over the past year.

Roger Wareham, Partner, pictured left, said: “We are pleased to welcome our five new trainees to our growing audit and corporate tax teams.

“This year has clearly been challenging for our clients and the local business community.

“We have worked hard during the pandemic to stay close to our clients to ensure they are able to survive such a challenging trading environment.

“We continue to invest in our business and the next generation of professionals to support the business community.

“This is reflected in our largest recruitment at the trainee level for some time.

“We are delighted to have recruited trainees from a number of local sixth form schools, including St Peters, Bournemouth School and Parkstone Grammar School.

“We wish our new intake every success with their career at Saffery Champness.”
