DDC has unveiled three new infection prevention devices set to be showcased at the Arab Health global medical expo in Dubai next week.
Founded in 1991, the firm manufactures products at its Poole HQ to guard hospitals and care homes against viruses, bacteria and other harmful microorganisms.
Among its latest innovations is the Pulpmatic Flex – an energy-saving medical pulp macerator to help institutions cut their carbon emissions.
There’s also the UVMATIC MultiTower, which provides multiple ultraviolet (UVC) lights and four detachable satellites to disinfect rooms and ambulances.
Finally, the UVMATIC AirSafe Steriliser is an air purifier which uses UVC light and titanium dioxide to kill microbes and pathogens.
Zoe Allen, marketing and HR director at DDC, said: “Each of these three products represents a significant step forward in their respective infection prevention technologies.
“Individually or collectively, they give hospitals and care homes powerful new ways to prevent and control healthcare-associated infections.”
Formerly known as DDC Dolphin, DDC also makes bedpan washer disinfectors, incontinence product macerators, sluice room consumables and stainless-steel furniture.
