The two Captain’s Club Peer2Peer Boards have kicked off their 2024 sessions with the fitting theme ‘Prepare For Your Best Year Yet’.

The sessions aimed to help participants ensure they are fully prepared for the year ahead as well as looking at their focus for 2024 and actions to be taken.

Emma Jones from Fireworx was the day’s guest speaker, sharing her expertise in leveraging LinkedIn for professional services in an engaging and well-received workshop.

The morning group session was followed by lunch, with the afternoon group joining in advance of their board.

Peer2Peer Boards were started in 2017 by Simon Hawtrey-Coombs,  Tim Bentall, Stuart Osborne and John Acton; all business leaders in their own right. They have a shared vision of learning from each other and together have created an unrivalled community of business leaders where embracing business growth and personal development is top of the agenda.

The leadership team of Peer2Peer believe that in order to be a great business leader, you have to be committed to becoming the very best version of yourself. Therefore, the programme the leadership team have developed aligns personal development with strategies for business growth and scale.

Each Board has between 10-15 members, working with over 90 workbooks designed to help boost members’ capabilities.

The Boards are hosted at some of the UK’s most prestigious venues and are designed to provide a strictly confidential platform where members can discuss ideas, share problems and challenge each other’s way of thinking.

Simon Hawtrey-Coombs said, “It was brilliant to be back for the 1st Peer2Peer meeting of the year and, as always, there was so much enthusiasm and energy in the room amongst the business leaders present.

“At Peer2Peer we believe that there is so much power in the sharing of experiences and knowledge and we learn from each other’s successes and mistakes, which helps to accelerate our individual journeys on the path to success. It was great  to have such a good turnout today.”
