“Hugely respected” Debbie Frith has been appointed to the Board of Dorset Business Angels Network Limited (DBAN).
Debbie has been its Marketing Manager since 2016.
Announcing her new directorship, Chairman Don McQueen, pictured left, said: “We are pleased and very excited to have Debbie join us on the Board.
“It is a natural progression for both her and for DBAN.
“Debbie has worked as an integral part of the team for several years.
“She knows our members, our company partners and all the local organisations in Dorset and the BCP area.
“Debbie is hugely respected by everyone with her experience as a company director in her family firm.
“She is an ambassador for Dorset Chamber and is part of the highly successful Passionate PA team, which is how we first established our flourishing relationship.
“Debbie will continue as the key driver of marketing for DBAN, working with entrepreneurs, investors, UK Business Angels Association (UKBAA) our trade body and our sponsor partners: Investec Wealth and Investment, Ellis Jones LLP and Saffery Champness Accountants.”
Debbie said: “Being invited to be a DBAN Board member is tremendous.
“I’ve held senior multi-site management positions in the hospitality industry and co-run my family engineering and manufacturing business.
“For the last seven years I have helped other business owners and directors grow and develop their businesses as a franchisee of The Passionate PA; providing them with freelance business support.
“Of course, that has included Dorset Business Angels.
“Now, I’m looking forward to working closely with the Board to continue the success of DBAN.”
DBAN provides quality, private equity investment opportunities to local high net worth and sophisticated investors.
It is a private limited company by guarantee, funded from investment commissions.
Other members of the Board are Peter Eales, Frank Guinn, Don McQueen, James Paget, Stephen Royffe and Max Wright.
