For the fifth year running a Dorset-based travel business has brought home the prize for being the UK’s best Homeworking Agency of the Year.

The accolade was presented to Not Just Travel at the Travel 2 Gold Medal Awards, one of the travel industry’s biggest awards ceremonies of the year, run by Travel 2 and Gold Medal.

Co-Founder Paul Harrison collected the trophy at the ceremony which was held at the Jacobean mansion Crewe Hall in Cheshire.

He said: “We are absolutely thrilled.

“We are seeing competition among homeworking agencies get tougher and tougher, with the level of professionalism reaching unprecedented levels.

“This award demonstrates that we are keeping up with ever-increasing demands – and even staying one step ahead.

“Yet, the lion’s share of this win has to be attributed to our 700 homeworkers who work tirelessly to maintain the level of professionalism and service that we expect and is the cornerstone of our business. We thank every single one of them.

“We are particularly proud of this award because it comes from within the travel industry with the votes coming from our peers in the business.

“We have experienced exponential growth in the past few years.

“The fact that a great proportion of our consultants up until now have come to us without any travel experience in the first place demonstrates how good our training and ongoing support is.

“We’re clearly doing something right!”

The same ceremony saw Not Just Travel collect the trophy for being the AM Resort Agency of The Year and the Florida Agency of the Year.

Mr Harrison said: “Three awards in one night is amazing.

“I couldn’t be prouder and it gives the whole Not Just Travel family even more momentum to keep up the good work.”

This year’s annual Agent Recognition Awards saw 90 agents contesting 39 categories.

Not Just Travel is one of the fastest growing travel agencies in the UK selling bespoke, tailormade holidays via its more than 700 personal travel consultants working from home.

The company, founded in 2001, has its head office based in Enterprise Way, Christchurch.
