One of Bournemouth’s top law firms has a new Managing Partner.

The Partners of  Steele Raymond LLP have elected Jennifer Rogerson to the role with effect from this month.

She takes over from Peter Rolph who has held the position for more than a decade.

The Partners also re-elected Tim Stone to continue in his current role as the firm’s Chairman.

Nick Davies, pictured left, continues in his position on the firm’s Board while Chris Twaits resumes his position.

Jennifer’s election to Managing Partner comes after six years with the firm, the previous four of which she has been a key member of the firm’s Management Board.

Prior to joining Steele Raymond, Jennifer gained significant experience working at both regional and national law firms.

During her time with the commercial law firm, she has been instrumental in a number of landmark projects, including the creation of the firm’s award-winning trainee recruitment programme.

It continues to nurture and develop high-quality solicitors, many of whom have been retained post-qualification.

Jennifer said: “Steele Raymond is an extraordinary boutique firm with great people and fantastic clients.

“The calibre of our people and their commitment to the highest levels of client service underpins everything that we strive to do and has been central to our success to date.

“I will be working hard to ensure that we maintain and build on these special qualities.

“The ethos of the firm has always been centred on providing excellent client service in relation to specialist areas of law delivered by highly experienced and capable teams.

“I am looking forward to building on the strong platform for growth that we have already established.

“It is an absolute privilege to have been elected by my fellow Partners to the position of Managing Partner.

“I want to say a special thank you to Peter who has dedicated himself to the role for many years and who will continue to play a significant part in the firm moving forward.”

A commercial litigation and construction specialist, Peter Rolph, pictured right, will continue to head up the Dispute Resolution Team.

He said: “I have been very proud to have managed the firm for many years during a significant period of growth.

“Now is an exciting time for Jennifer and the newly configured Board to take forward the management of the firm as we look forward to a further dynamic period in the firm’s development.”

Speaking on Jennifer’s election to Managing Partner and the future of Steele Raymond, Tim Stone, pictured left, said: “My personal thanks to Peter for an incredible amount of hard work, dedication and commitment during his many years as the firm’s Managing Partner.

“I look forward to working with and supporting Jennifer and the new Board as the firm moves into another exciting phase of its strategic growth and development.

“The Board members bring a fantastic range of backgrounds, experience and talent to their roles which will help us further develop and grow the firm of which we are all very proud to be a part of.”
