Individuals and businesses involved in this year’s We Do Ethical Awards took part in a Wellbeing Day in Bournemouth.

Ethical champions from various categories – including the Ethical Human Award, Ethical Child Award, Ethical Business Award and Miss England Ethical Queen Award – came together to showcase their commitment to community outreach activities.

The activities ranged from litter clean-ups to supporting homeless people and tree planting initiatives.

All were aligned with the overarching mission of the We Do Ethical Awards to recognise and reward those actively contributing to positive change.

Among those taking part in the Wellbeing Day were Miss England Southwest finalists including Jasmine Vinod, 16, and Elena Clarke, 17, who both come from Bournemouth.

The We Do Ethical Awards, which celebrate their tenth anniversary this year, are organised by We Do Ethical, founded by Kelly Levell.

The  national winners will be announced in May at The Grand Station, Wolverhampton, alongside Miss England.

Business supporters, and their teams, are invited to participate in Wellbeing Days.

They aim to reduce pollution, address climate change anxiety and support vulnerable communities through the distribution of essential toiletries.

Kelly, pictured left, said: “By using litter picks to clean up our community and firmly believing in the importance of personal hygiene as a fundamental human right, we express our gratitude to all who have supported us thus far.

“Prior to our efforts, the most vulnerable individuals in our community were deprived of an essential human right.

“Now, we are able to provide essential toiletries to an average of 1,200 people each month.”
