Chris Dolan has joined Bournemouth law firm Steele Raymond as Commercial Property Partner.

He was previously at a Hampshire-based firm, where he spent the past five years. Prior to this, Mr Dolan worked for a prominent national law firm.

His 30 years’ experience have included being instrumental in the initial development of Poole’s Tower Park entertainment complex.

He has also acted on development projects spanning the South Coast for both private developers and national residential property developers, including Bellway, Barratt and Bloor Homes.

Mr Dolan said: “I have commuted to Hampshire for a large proportion of my career and felt the time was right to work a little closer to home.

“Steele Raymond were the obvious choice for me. What the firm – Emma Stainwright in particular – has achieved here is fantastic and my arrival at this time of sustained growth is testament to the hard work and success of the property development team.”

Emma Stainwright, Commercial Property Partner and Head of the Residential Development team, said: “Chris’ appointment comes at a really important juncture for the firm as our property teams, including commercial, residential and development, have grown to the point of requiring their own office.

“With his expertise in private, commercial and large residential property developments, relationships and familiarity with the region, Chris’ arrival is a significant step in our plans.”

As reported, Steele Raymond’s 26-strong property team is now in newly leased office space in the Granville Chambers building on Richmond Hill after relocating from the firm’s Richmond Point head office.

The new office operates as a hub for the Residential Property, Commercial Property, Residential Development and specialist Pension Property Investment teams, collectively known as the firm’s Property Group.
