Two new voting categories have been announced for the 2024 DMB Tourism Awards with less than a fortnight left to cast your vote in this year’s contest.

Organisers say the Rising Star and Tourism Business of the Year awards will recognise the “incredible talent and outstanding businesses that make our region a premier destination for tourists”.

The Rising Star category is designed to spotlight up-and-coming talents within the tourism industry.

It’s described as “a unique opportunity to recognise the next generation of leaders who are driving innovation and excellence in our industry”.

The Tourism Business of the Year includes every applicant across all categories.

The award will celebrate the businesses that have consistently delivered exceptional experiences and contributed to the growth and success of the tourism sector in Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole.

Voting for both categories can be made by visiting www.dmb-tourismawards.co.uk/vote.

Voting is simple and can be completed in just minutes.

Only one entry per email address will be accepted.

Voting remains open until Sunday, September 1.

Tim Seward, pictured left, Lead Delivery, Destination Management Board Tourism Awards 2024, said:Your support could make all the difference in helping your business or a deserving individual secure a prestigious award.

“Let’s come together to recognise and celebrate the outstanding contributions of our local tourism businesses and the bright stars who are leading us into the future.”

There are 19 categories in this year’s DMB Tourism Awards.

The finalists will be announced on Thursday September 12 at the Captain’s Club Hotel & Spa in Christchurch.

The gala awards evening, hosted by Andy Brennan, is on Friday November 8 at the Hilton Hotel in Bournemouth.
