“It truly is a dream come true.”
The words of award-winning wellness expert Simone Thomas as her first book – Healthy Hair, Happy Body – officially went on sale on Monday August 23.

And always one to aim high, the founder of Simone Thomas Wellness and Simone Thomas salons and hair-loss clinics, has set a goal to sell 100 million copies worldwide.
She said: “It has been a labour of love for me over these past years.
“I hope it will educate and inspire people from all walks of life.
“It truly is a dream come true to see the book stocked on my official website, as well as Amazon.
“I hope over coming months to see it up and down leading bookshelves across the globe.”
The 243-page book presents simple to follow, tried and tested tips and lifestyle advice to help readers regain their full body health.
Simone introduces her comprehensive and motivational plan to transform hair, and wellbeing from the ‘inside out’ for life.
The nutrition and hair loss consultant and bio-energetics practitioner also shares her personal story that has taken her on a journey to changing her life.
It includes the death of her father in 1989 when she was eight years old.
He died on impact from severe brain damage and head injuries as a result of an accident while in Saudi Arabia.
Simone writes: “Our life changed overnight and I can still vividly remember the nightmares that I suffered for years afterwards.
“Losing my father definitely had an impact on who and how I am as a person.
“I am very independent and don’t like to ask for help.
“This is my way of protecting myself, my way of mentally and physically protecting my future and my way of protecting my family.
“I never, ever want to fail and I am the best person to ensure this.”

Simone, pictured, also describes how her mother Veronica, nicknamed ‘Lady T’ or ‘Ronnie’ by most who knew her, had been diagnosed with Motor Neurone Disease and given just two years to live.
Simone writes: “She never gave up though and lived for a full ten more years – eight years longer than the initial diagnosis, passing away when I was 27.
“My mother and father, and the life they gave me, are the driving force behind my words and my actions.”
A £1 donation, inclusive of VAT, will go to the Motor Neurone Disease Association (MDNA) for every book sold, in memory of Veronica.
Simone’s journey to becoming an expert in hair loss, thinning hair and scalp conditions began more than a decade ago.
The 39-year-old was diagnosed with a form of cervical cancer which led to her suffering from alopecia where her healthy, glossy hair began to fall out.
After seeking advice from hairdressers and doctors, Simone became frustrated at the lack of help and support for hair loss sufferers and was left disappointed at the quality of wigs, wefts and hairpieces available.

She decided to turn her experience into her career.
Simone Thomas Salon Ltd in Poole Road, Westbourne, was incorporated as a company in 2012.
Simone subsequently embraced wellness with nutrition and exercise as two of her passions.
She has a diploma in Weight and Nutrition Management, helping clients to address their hair health from within.
Simone also holds a Vegan Nutritionist Diploma, Alkaline Nutritionist Diploma and hair loss certificates and qualifications.
Simone Thomas Wellness was incorporated in 2014.
Clients include royalty, celebrities and CEOs from around the world.

‘Healthy Hair, Happy Body’ aims to arm readers with the knowledge Simone has honed over the years.
In each chapter she introduces concepts that provide insights into how the body functions, and what really makes a difference to achieving optimum wellbeing.
She shares how making tiny adjustments over time, can lead to far better results, with diet considered critical when it comes to wellness.
The book is dedicated to Simone’s sons, Ashton-Michael and William-Craig.
She writes: “This book is for you, boys.
“I know you are still young but one day you will know that you can be whoever you want.
“Just make sure you are kind, you love with all your heart and that you have the upmost respect for others – especially women.”
