His favourite smell is freshly cut grass, he’d like to share a car with businessman and writer Grant Cardone, gets angry at dishonesty and would like to be remembered by his children as someone that made time for them, helped them and had fun with them.

Question: What is your favourite TV show?

Answer: Undercover Billionaire.

Q: Who would you like to share a car with?

A: Grant Cardone. He is like marmite, people love or hate him. I like him as he is relentless, he knows what he wants, and he goes out and gets it.

Q: The best bit of my job is…?

A: Finding out the incredible ROI our members are getting from BCP Connect and meeting amazing business owners who genuinely want to help others.

Q: And the worst…?

A: When people don’t see the opportunities presented to them.

Q: Who was your childhood hero?

A: My dad. He passed away with leukaemia when I was 21. Even with what was going on, he was always trying new business ideas.

Q: What’s your favourite smell?

A: Freshly cut grass.

Q: Where’s your favourite place in Dorset?

A: This is a hard one. There are so many fantastic spots to choose from but the beach on a hot summer’s day can’t be overlooked.

Q: What advice would you give to anyone starting out on a career?

A: Just get started. Your idea will never be perfect, your website or logo doesn’t matter at the start, just focus on delivering a great service. Network, network and network more. Don’t wait for things to come to you.

Q: What was your first record/CD?

A: I used to listen to my brother’s dance tapes/CDs which got me into DJ-ing when I was younger. The first vinyl I bought was a track called Binary Finary 1999.

Q: What gets you angry?

A: Dishonesty, whether in business or otherwise.

Q: Do you have a favourite piece of music?

A: I like most music; I will play different genres depending on how I need motivating.

Q: What are the qualities you look for in a new employee?

A: Someone entrepreneurial who wants to go into business themselves in the future. If they have that attitude, it’s likely they’re going to be hard working, they don’t clock watch and aren’t afraid to ask questions or make suggestions.

Q: What’s your favourite food or dish?

A: Thai Red Curry.

Q: Steamed sponge pudding and custard or a plate of melon?

A: Steamed sponge pudding every time.

Q: Name the best thing about living/working in Dorset?

A: Having a young family, the best thing is the numerous things you can see and do. Dorset is full of beauty spots that make you feel like you could be anywhere in the world. For work, the facilities and coffee shops available to meet clients.

Q: If you were Prime Minister for the day what would be the first thing you do?

A: Good question. I have always thought that there should be a small ‘village’ made up of container ships (converted into homes) with communal facilities and resources where homeless people (especially ex-military) can get back on track.

Q: What’s your biggest frustration?

A: Tottenham Hotspur.

Q:  Where’s your favourite holiday location?

A: We went to the Maldives for our honeymoon ten years ago. We had a jacuzzi water villa where we could just step out straight in the crystal-clear waters. It would be a dream to go back.

Q: Where do you see yourself in ten years’ time?

A: Having achieved my goals with family, business and life.

Q: What would you like to be remembered for?

A: As the person who has helped others grow, either through motivation, resources or financial reward. More importantly, I’d like to be remembered by my children as someone that made time for them, helped them and had fun with them.
