A multi-disciplinary surveying practice is to launch a new licensed property department after securing the services of a former big hitter with the UK’s largest pub company.

Sibbett Gregory Licensed Property is an alliance of Poole-based Sibbett Gregory and Simon Millar, formerly Estates Director at Ei Group (Enterprise Inns Plc).

Simon, who will be South Coast based, but with a national reach, specialises in licensed trade and leisure property sales and agency, both freehold and leasehold, along with valuation and appraisal advice.

He has a wealth of experience, including 22 years as Head of Estates (1998 to 2012) and Estates Director (2012 onwards) at Enterprise Inns.

Enterprise changed its name and corporate identity to Ei Group in 2017.

It was acquired by Stonegate Pub Company in March this year for £1.27bn, making it the largest pub company in the UK with around 4,500 sites.

Simon’s specialities include:

• Pubs and other licensed and leisure property sales and agency, including reports and valuations for sale, both freehold and leasehold.
• Property and land appraisals.
• Landlord & tenant, rent reviews and lease renewals.
