Goadsby let offices at prominent town centre building to Walker Agency

The 4th floor of one of Bournemouth’s most recognisable buildings is to have a new tenant.

Goadsby’s Business Space Department has successfully let the floor at Granville Chambers to Walker Agency.

The building occupies a prominent position on Richmond Hill with the 4th floor extending to approximately 3,000 sq ft.

James Edwards, Director, Goadsby Commercial, pictured left, said: “Despite the challenging office market, we were able to secure a letting prior to marketing commencing which was largely due to the building’s high specification and extensive amenities.”

Goadsby also manage the Grade II listed building on behalf of the landlord.

Walker, a full service advertising and marketing agency, was founded by Martin Walker in 1994.

In April, Campaign, which serves the marketing, advertising and media communities, again listed Walker Agency in both the Top 100 Creative Agencies and in the Top 20 Regional Agencies of its annual school reports.

Great opportunity for locally based charities to team up with the Cherries

AFC Bournemouth is looking for four new charity partners for the 2023/24 and 2024/25 seasons.

It follows the club’s successful work with Hope For Food, Lewis-Manning Hospice Care, MYTIME Young Carers and the Isabel Baker Foundation.

Regarding the new partners, the Cherries say they will be looking “to create meaningful impact and better opportunities for those who need support in the local community.”

The charities should share the club’s “commitment towards advancing equality, diversity and inclusion, and improving physical and mental health.”

Applicants must have their head office registered locally and benefit the lives of people living in the Dorset and Hampshire area.

The successful charities will partner with AFC Bournemouth for the 2023/24 and 2024/25 seasons, which will begin on July 3, 2023, and end on May 31, 2025.

They will benefit from receiving signed merchandise, match tickets, fundraising from select club events and the club’s support in helping to raise awareness.

To apply for a charity partnership, please fill out the form here.

The closing date for applications is noon on Monday June 12.

Eluned said: “I am delighted to support The Honeypot Children’s Charity by performing in the wonderful Christchurch Priory.
