The Poole Business Awards returned for the third time this year with a record number of entries and nominations, gradually whittled down to just fourteen winners.
Local firms were joined by Poole Mayor, Cllr Jo Clements, for a lunchtime ceremony at Hennings on the Quay.
Flying high on the day were aeronautical consultants Think Research Ltd, who were crowned both B2B Business of the Year and overall Business of the Year, as well as finishing a close second in the Best Place to Work category.
Event organiser Nigel Reeve said: “Yet again I’ve been impressed by the great independent businesses in Poole and their enthusiasm to succeed.
“They’re the backbone of the local economy and help to give Poole its unique identity, so I’d urge people to support them.”
