Not Just Travel welcomes new recruitment manager
Award-winning Not Just Travel and The Travel Franchise have appointed a new recruitment manager to help keep up with the expansion of its experienced travel agency arm.
Louise Baxendell, pictured left, comes to the Dorset-based company after a long career in the travel industry working with brands including Thomson Holidays, Lunn Poly, Global Travel Group and the Co-operative Travel Group.
She will be working with the experienced travel agency side of the business, where agents are supported to grow their businesses.
Louise had anything but a quiet start as in her first week she already had more than 250 enquiries to manage.
Co-founders Steve Witt and Paul Harrison said: “Louise knows travel and she’s a real people person.
“She has a huge amount of experience and has owned her own travel business before, so she’s done exactly what she is recruiting people to do – she’s walked the walk.”
Not Just Travel and its sister arm, The Travel Franchise, are one of the few travel companies to be expanding right now due to high demand.
Steve and Paul say enquiries have gone ‘through the roof’ as people look to create new job opportunities, with many being drawn to homeworking.
Over the coming months they aim to increase the size of their recruitment team as they launch new business divisions and attract even more members.
