Developer launches bespoke virtual viewing service during lockdown

Bungalow provider RoyaleLife has partnered with home part exchange specialists Quickmove Properties to introduce virtual viewings for buyers across the country.

Following government advice to adhere to strict social distancing rules during the Covid-19 pandemic, the bungalow developer for the over 45s has taken the initiative to launch a series of virtual viewings, using Zoom.

In a first of its kind for RoyaleLife, potential buyers will now have the opportunity to see their development, and ask any vital questions they may have, without ever leaving the comfort of their homes.

The event will take place tomorrow, Thursday April 30, at 2pm and will be held at Royale Heights in Beacon Hill, Dorset.

Participants will be invited via a digital link to a guided tour, hosted by a member of the RoyaleLife and Quickmove team.

The tour of the development and show homes is scheduled to last between 30 and 40 minutes.

Robert Bull, RoyaleLife’s Chief Executive Officer, said: “The health and safety of our staff, existing residents and future customers is our top priority.

“Thankfully, with the help of today’s technological advances, we can provide this innovative solution to help meet the high level of demand we have for our stunning developments.

“The unique aspect of our development tours is that buyers will have the potential to chat directly with not only the sales adviser, but also Quickmove properties too.

“And, despite setting this up to run during the lockdown period, we see no reason why we cannot continue to provide virtual viewings for our many customers across the country wishing to relocate further afield once restrictions have been lifted.”

Keep moving with Pavilion Dance South West

A popular Bournemouth arts venue has moved online to keep its communities dancing during isolation.

As a result of the Covid-19 emergency, Pavilion Dance South West (PDSW) is temporarily closed until August.

But ahead of the announcement, PDSW was adapting and creating new innovative digital solutions to keep communities connected, updated and active during isolation.

Responding and rethinking its approach to communication, the registered charity worked alongside its digital branding agency CuCo Creative to provide creative digital content and help its audience remain connected.

The first change on its website was that instead of customers booking online for a class or to watch a performance they now have the option to view performances or classes from the comfort of their own homes.

CuCo Creative has also supported PDSW with the inclusion of a donations link on its website.

The optional donations page is for customers and stakeholders to give a goodwill donation to support the charity during this difficult time.

Caroline Anstey, PDSW’s Marketing Manager, said: “Bringing virtual dance classes, live streams and digital donations to our channels has proved extremely beneficial for PDSW to stay connected with our audience.

“We are aware this uncertain period can be difficult for many individuals, so we aim to lift moods and support communities living in isolation by bringing our services to them.

“With the support of CuCo, we have already added online classes to our website including an over 50’s contemporary class, a commercial jazz class and also a digital premiere of the circus theatre production of ‘Oh No, George’, a stage adaptation of this popular children’s book.

“The set-up of the website also allowed us to offer our audiences the chance to interact with the creators of the show through to a live post-show chat with the author, Chris Haughton and director Catherine Boot.

“We were thrilled that the performance has been viewed over 1,000 times on our YouTube channel. Not forgetting our weekly digital newsletter and news bulletins from our CEO and Artistic Director Zannah Chisholm.

“PDSW have many positive plans in place to support individuals and communities through dance, and with our 10th Anniversary approaching in September we aim to keep people moving, spirits high and communities connected through dance.”
