Passionate foodie Rachael to help expand BAHA’s work with hoteliers
Food blogger Rachael Pitman – known as The15milefoodie – is joining BH Area Hospitality Association (BAHA) as its new Liaison Officer.

She has been recruited on a flexible casual basis to help expand the work of BAHA.
Rachael will support Tim Seward, Chair, and the BAHA committee as it expands its work with all hoteliers across Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole
A passionate supporter of food and drink producers and food and hospitality businesses in the area, Rachael already knows many of the chefs in local hotels.
Prior to moving to Christchurch in 2015, she had a career in teaching spanning more than 20 years.
Although no longer in education Rachael continues to work with children’s charities on a voluntary basis including Wave 105 Cash for Kids, Naomi House and Jacksplace.
She said: “I can’t wait to start working with the 65-plus hotels in the BH area to ensure they are aware of the benefits of the media support and training opportunities in the Bounce Back project.”

Tim, pictured left, said: “I am delighted to have Rachael onboard as we work on a number of projects to support hoteliers and their staff across Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole.”

Interest in the Poole Business Awards continues to grow.
Viewings of the awards website – poolebusinessawards.co.uk – are currently increasing each week by more than 25 per cent.

Nigel Reeve, pictured left, of organisers Marketing West Events, said: “The ethos of the awards is to be simple and free to enter while the awards ceremony will focus on promoting local business.
“Entries close early in October, so we are expecting a rush over the next few weeks.
“We are now actively placing the category sponsorships for Start-up Business of the Year, Independent Business of the Year, Best Customer Service, Best Place to Work and Retail Business of the Year and will be announcing our first batch of sponsors early in September.
“On top of this, we are lucky to have supporters including the Poole BID, the Dorset Growth Hub, Dorset Mind and Hot Radio.
