Start up, Step up and Step out with new Business Pioneer Programme

Energise, Maximise, Realise.

Three words at the centre of a new Business Pioneer Programme being launched by one of Dorset’s most high profile businesswomen.

Beverley Poole, who has built and sold three businesses and is a qualified coach, mentor and teacher, has used her 20+ years of business development experience to design the programme.

A weekly drop-in clinic will be held each Wednesday from July 7 at BizSpace Poole to support and guide participants.

Beverley, who is the host of LinkedInLocal Bournemouth and Poole, said the programme was suitable for businesses at all stages of development.

She added: “Start up – and energise – is for new and fledgling businesses needing support with strategy, business planning, innovative ideas, market planning and media content, opportunities, competitive advantage and much more.

“Step up – and maximise – is for businesses two or three years old where you’re looking to grow.

“We can take a deep dive into the business with change and growth strategies, recruitment of staff, employee benefits, learning and development and, of course, personal development.

“Step out – and realise – is for those looking to sell the business, maybe retire or need a plan forward for the business.

“We have experience of these areas and will be delighted to guide participants to step out and beyond.“

Monthly membership is available or a two day deep dive.

It includes two one-to-one planning and mentoring sessions and group mentoring meeting online or at the business clinic with planning and development from specialists.

Bournemouth town centre on the R1SE with recent letting

Goadsby Commercial assisted new venture R1SE with the recent letting of 104 Commercial Road in Bournemouth town centre.

The property has substantial accommodation over both ground and first floor.

Following further negotiations, Goadsby Commercial helped with the letting of the adjacent first floor space over the former Maplin store.

It will be used by R1SE to expand the gym/fitness studio side of the business.

Following an extensive fit out, Ty Temel, Benjamin Reynolds and Jamie Whisken opened The Hangout Coffee Shop at the beginning of June.

The gym and fitness studio is due to open to the public in coming weeks.

Edd Watts, of Goadsby, pictured left, said: “It was a pleasure to work with the R1SE team who over the last few months have carried out a considerable refurbishment of the building to provide a quality establishment for the local community.

“This letting is one of a number of recent additions to the town centre in recent months with further openings in the pipeline.”
