4Com grows again with acquisition of Reach Digital Telecoms

4Com has added its 3,000th acquired customer after completing its fourth deal in less than a year.

The business telephone systems provider is now the owner of Shropshire-based Reach Digital Telecoms Limited.

Further acquisitions are expected in future months.

Established in 2015, Reach Digital Telecoms is a business communications provider offering phone systems, mobile apps and broadband services.

Bournemouth-based 4Com’s other acquisitions in the last ten months were Midshire Telecom, Eastern Voice and Data and the business telecoms customer base of Bluebell Cloud Solutions.

Reach serves 1,200 customers adding to 4Com’s already 13,000 strong client base nationwide.

Gary Scutt, 4Com’s Chief Executive Officer, said: “The purchase of Reach is another landmark moment for us here at 4Com and reflects the success of each of our acquisitions so far.

“The Reach deal will help further accelerate our growth and they will be a welcome addition to our group.”

Hall & Woodhouse raises over £600,000 for local communities

Hall & Woodhouse (H&W) raised over half a million pounds for its local communities and charitable organisations in 2022.

The family brewers held a mix of fundraising events, challenges, direct giving and local initiatives at each of its pubs.

The achievement has set the independent brewer on track for reaching its goal of raising £1 million per annum for charities and good causes by 2027.

Additionally, and in recognition of last year’s fundraising and giving success, H&W was awarded the Corporate Community Hero Award from the All Party Parliamentary Beer Group.

Anthony Woodhouse, pictured left, Chairman of Hall & Woodhouse, said: “Giving back to the community and using our own resources to directly enrich the areas where our pubs are located is at the centre of Hall & Woodhouse’s ambitions as a company.

“We are so proud and grateful to all our team members.

“Without them coming together and working as one, none of this would have been possible.

“Continuing to support causes like the Ukraine crisis and the NHS and our invaluable emergency services through our direct giving is a huge part of our company purpose, as well as raising funds for our local charitable organisations.

“The past year’s achievement has given us confidence in our aims to raise £1 million of vital funds each year for good causes by 2027.”
