For the fifth year running, Bournemouth taxi firm United Taxis will sponsor Broadway Showtunes.

Broadway Showtunes is an evening of musical theatre which sees more than 150 Youth Theatre students from BIGLITTLE Theatre School performing some of Broadway’s best known numbers.

Now in it’s 22nd year, the show has become a tradition at Bournemouth’s Pavilion Theatre, offering everything from timeless classics to recent hits.

“We are thrilled to be supported by United Taxis for Broadway Showtunes,” said Colin Billing, the Principal of BIGLITTLE Theatre School.

“For over two decades, this event has been a highlight of our theatrical calendar, and we are proud to continue the tradition in collaboration with United Taxis.

“Our talented young performers have worked tirelessly to bring this production to life, and we are excited to share their passion and dedication with the audience.”

United Taxis sees its sponsorship as a chance to support the arts and help to nurture the next generation of performers, with BIGLITTLE Theatre School offering a platform for young artists to show their talent as well as encouraging creativity and fostering a love for performing arts in the community.

“As a longstanding supporter of the arts, United Taxis is delighted to sponsor Broadway Showtunes” stated Andy Prescott, spokesperson for United Taxis.

“We recognise the importance of nurturing young talent and providing them with opportunities to shine. This event perfectly embodies our commitment to promoting creativity, supporting local initiatives, and bringing the joy of live performances to the community.

“We invite everyone to join us for a magical evening of music, dance, and celebration.”

Broadway Showtunes is on at The Pavilion Theatre Bournemouth, from Wednesday 13th July through to Saturday 15th July. Tickets for Broadway Showtunes are available for purchase direct from the BH Live website.
