Bournemouth’s BIGLITTLE Theatre School is set to stage a new production next month.

The Secret Garden is the Tony Award-winning musical adaptation of Frances Hodgson Burnett’s beloved novel, with lyrics from Pulitzer Prize holder Marsha Norman.

Directed by Graham Hubbard and brought to life by students on the non-profit school’s professional development programme, the story follows the journey of Mary Lennox – an orphaned young girl sent to live with her grieving uncle in an early 1900s Yorkshire mansion.

There she discovers a locked and forgotten garden and determines to revive its hidden beauty.

The show runs from 19 to 22 February – including Thursday and Saturday matinees at 3pm – at the Performing Arts Centre in Bournemouth.

Tickets are £18, or £15 for concessions.
