Twelve companies and organisations have made it through to the finals of this month’s Big Green Awards 2019.

They include Poole’s Dolphin Shopping Centre, Clean Energy UK, W&S Recycling and Evergreen Insure.

About 100 guests are expected at the gala dinner and awards which are hosted by the Poole-based Southern Sustainability Partnership.

It is the region’s only event dedicated to rewarding organisations in environmental management, corporate sustainability and social value, covering both the public and private sectors.

Lynda Daniels, Director, said: “This is the fastest-growing industry sector because these issues are as vital to running a business today as quality solutions and great customer service – no matter the size or type of operation or the sector you operate in.

“The Dorset region is rich in outstanding supplier businesses, as well as highly proactive organisations taking a significant role in reducing their carbon footprint.

“It is imperative these efforts are recognised and it is why we host a dedicated, annual event.”

The list of the 2019 finalists so far for the ten award categories include:

  • 918 Coffee
  • &Keep
  • Air-Site Limited

Directors Lynda Daniels and Anita Potten.

Lynda said: “All our winners and runners-up went away with an award and everyone enjoyed a welcome drinks reception, three course dinner, awards ceremony and entertainment.

“We urge organisations to join us on the night, to see for themselves the fastest growing industry sector.”
