Inspire, the South Coast business and tax advisory firm, is celebrating after winning a national accountancy award.

It scooped the prestigious title of ‘Medium Firm of the Year’ at the Accounting Excellence Awards.

The award confirms Inspire as one of the nation’s leading independent business and tax advisory firms.

Warren Munson, who founded Poole-based Inspire in 2004, said: “We’re absolutely thrilled to have won this national Accounting Excellence award.

“It’s a superb achievement for the firm and a great recognition for the entire Inspire team.

“As I’m sure many business leaders will agree, this year has been like no other.

“I want to thank our amazing team at Inspire for their continued hard work, commitment and passion for delivering for our clients, especially over the recent months, where our clients have needed our support more than ever.

“Every member of our team has done an outstanding job.

The Accounting Excellence Awards, now in their tenth year, are designed to showcase the very best examples of client service and support from accountancy firms across the UK.

Due to the current Covid restrictions, the planned award ceremony in London was unable to go ahead.

Instead, a virtual event was held to announce the winners.

Feedback from the award judges concluded that: “Inspire is an established firm that is continuing to push boundaries, while retaining focus on customer service and looking after its team.”

Inspire supports the growth of ambitious entrepreneurial businesses across the South Coast and further afield.

It beat off competition from four other finalists to win the ‘Medium Firm of the Year’ title.

The AccountingExcellence Awards are staged by AccountingWEB.

The ‘Medium Firm of the Year’ category was sponsored by Freeagent.
