‘Collaborative’ is the brainchild of Laura Taylor.

The Founder of EA2VA, said she was overwhelmed with the response received through LinkedIn after floating the idea of running a monthly event during 2022 – and beyond if demand continued.

And now the date has been set for the launch.

It’s at Bournemouth’s Hotel Collingwood on Thursday December 9 from 6.30pm until 10pm.

The first speaker is Matt Desmier, pictured, described as a strategist, advisor, workshop facilitator, mentor, entrepreneur, raconteur and troubadour.

Through his agency, Matt and his team have worked with organisations ranging from a fast-growing premium footwear brand to a respected UK insurance company and a global leader in mapping technology.

He’ll be talking on ‘Engineered Serendipity’ – how being in the right place at the right time can lead to extraordinary things.

The £22.50 price includes a ‘meet and greet’ fizz reception with canapés, Event Liaisons on hand to support – so you never feel on your own in a room full of strangers – as well as The Collaborative wall showcasing who’s actually in the room for you to meet and a launch event giveaway.

The event starts in the upstairs Bubble Lounge at the Hotel Collingwood and then on to the Botanical Suite situated downstairs in the hotel.

Laura said: “Every month Collaborative will be offering a different experience at the Hotel Collingwood for attendees to be part of, on a pay as you go basis.

“The hotel is the perfect venue to host the events due to the brilliant team led by Eytan and Michelle Krips and the bright and welcoming feel the hotel has to offer.

Laura collaborated with award-winning agency We are 778, led by Simon Rodway, to bring the brand alive.

As a result, Laura said the Collaborative logo encompasses the brand values of Inspire, Motivate & Collaborate.

Speech marks are used to symbolise community, friendship, support and the message of talking with the vibrant colour palette representing the personalities of people at the Collaborative events, said Laura.
