BCP Council is set to sell off the Christchurch Civic Offices, with CBRE Southampton bringing the property to market.

Located on Bridge Street, the offices were closed to the public and staff in December 2021 as the council looked to streamline resources and improve service delivery.

The three-storey building spans roughly 29,600 sq ft and sits on a 1.66-acre site near the town centre, which also includes the Leisure Centre Car Park West.

Alex Davies, director at CBRE Southampton, said: “This is an exciting opportunity to reimagine a prime waterfront location in the heart of Christchurch.

“The size and location of the site could suit a wide range of different uses – subject to planning – and makes it an attractive prospect for investors and developers.”

The Bridge Street Car Park, including the public toilets, and the public right of way to the west of the centre are not included in the sale.
