Firstly, congratulations to King Charles III on his coronation this weekend, everyone here at Biz News wishes him the best going forward. We appreciate the Royal household’s acknowledgment and appreciation of Dorset business and people.

Here are some more messages from Dorset businesses:

Simon Boyd, managing director of Christchurch-based REIDsteel, said: “Congratulations from REIDsteel to His Majesty King Charles III and Camilla, the Queen Consort, on their coronation.

“We wish you a long, successful, peaceful and happy reign as our monarch and head of the Commonwealth.

“British engineering and manufacturing has an excellent reputation on the world stage, where the monarch’s role as an international ambassador and champion of UK plc is absolutely vital.

“REIDsteel has been privileged to design, manufacture and construct steel structures at home and abroad under five monarchs dating back to George V in 1919.

“We are proud to continue flying the flag for British engineering and manufacturing under King Charles III’s reign. Long live the king!”

Ian Girling, chief executive of Dorset Chamber, said: “The chamber extends its warmest congratulations to King Charles III and Camilla, the Queen Consort, on their coronation.

“We look forward to seeing the King champion and inspire British businesses in the same superb way as his late mother, Queen Elizabeth II.

“The coronation is a time for celebration, renewal and hope for better things ahead, while also acting as tremendous advert for the ‘Great Britain’ brand worldwide.

“I hope it may encourage more foreign visitors, overseas investment and international trade in the medium to long term as well as a much-needed boost for the hospitality and catering sector over the coronation weekend in Dorset.”

Andrea Frabetti, Chief Executive Officer at Sunseeker International, commented: “As a proud British company, we thought it only right to celebrate the Coronation of King Charles. In honour of this historic event, we have created a limited-edition teddy bear who was affectionately named ‘Arbie’ in honour of the company’s late founder Robert Braithwaite.”
