Dorset’s fast-growing business podcast market welcomes a new kid on the block this week.
Upscale has been co-founded by William Niven and Dan Day.
The weekly series of podcasts launches this week and aims to inform and inspire listeners with stories from entrepreneurs, designers and dreamers.
Both William and Dan are former students of the Arts University Bournemouth.
William studied visual communication while Dan opted for graphic design.
Following graduation they parted and ended up working in different parts of the world.
Bournemouth-based William founded UNBXD in 2015.
The creative digital agency specialises in all aspects of branding, web design, marketing and content creation.
It has worked with major clients including Nike, Addison Lee and Pukka Pads and featured in publications such as Forbes, Virgin Startup and the Daily Mail.
Will also has a number of businesses inside and outside the creative sector, specialising in branding, e-commerce, fashion and lifestyle.
Dan is currently based in Dubai.
He co-founded up and coming health and wellness platform @official_maxfit, co-owns @littlelegendsuk and has launched a fun new business @theworldofgins.
He also is a designer for major property players in Dubai and the UK.
William said: “We’re two creatives from different sides of the world coming together to share stories from entrepreneurs, designers, and dreamers.
“The series will give a rare insight into the makings of truly unique businesses and ventures – their highs, their lows and everything in-between.”
The duo haven’t had to look far for their first guest.
It’s William himself talking about running an agency at the age of 24.
