The founder and director of a new marketing agency says the concept – and name – was inspired by hours gazing out to sea.
Ocean View Marketing is the brainchild of Dan Buckley, 28, formerly AFC Bournemouth’s Marketing Manager.
It will provide a full 360 degree service including marketing strategies, digital marketing, website builds, brand, design and print.
Dan, who joined AFC Bournemouth to build the club’s marketing department in 2017, described his new venture as “Bournemouth’s brightest new marketing agency.”
He added: “It’s born during the pandemic as a way to help small businesses re-evaluate their marketing strategies and identify new opportunities.
“Ocean View Marketing is inspired by hours sat overlooking the Dorset coastline, over time noticing new details emerge that were previously unseen.
“This is the bigger picture thinking we want to bring to Dorset businesses.
“It’s built using a network of trusted suppliers, guaranteeing the highest quality of service.
“The goal is to challenge how businesses view themselves.
“It will use years of expertise to provide a new perspective of marketing that can help deliver growth and prosperity.
“The philosophy of the business is based on the premise that marketing is about managing relationships.
“This needs to be done consistently, efficiently and sustainably.
“We’re an agency with an in-house feel.
“We want to get to know your business and be part of your journey.”
Ocean View Marketing is currently offering free, non-committal marketing MOT sessions.
Dan said: “It’s a chance to sit down for an hour – virtually if necessary – and look under the bonnet of your business and help evaluate marketing opportunities that may not have noticed before.
“It has always been my ambition to launch my own agency and provide first class marketing support for growing businesses.
“I am thrilled to be taking those first steps towards that vision and cannot wait to help the business community in Dorset continue to thrive.”
