David Black has joined the team at Oakdale care home in Poole as Head Chef.
He has more than 20 years’ experience in the catering sector with a Level 1-3 NVQ Diploma in catering and a Level 3 NVQ Diploma in health and hygiene.
David said: “Preparing freshly cooked, nutritional meals is a top priority for me.
“When creating the weekly menu, we take into consideration all of our residents’ specific requirements and ensure that we are producing balanced meals that both appeal to the taste buds but also have a positive impact on their health.”
The new state-of-the-art 84-bed residential, nursing and dementia care home in Poole was officially opened in October.
It is managed by Encore Care Homes, one of three in Dorset.
