The Dorset-based co-founder of a software development company is celebrating after successfully floating the business on the Warsaw stock exchange less than four years after it was launched.

Spyrosoft released 179,766 shares in the business in the flotation on the NewConnect Stock Market in Warsaw – 17 per cent of its registered capital – rewarding employees and sharing the company’s success.

Andrew Radcliffe co-founded the company, which is headquartered in Wroclaw in Poland, in 2016 after leaving his job as Head of Development at Ordnance Survey in Southampton.

In 2016 Spyrosoft had 15 employees working from one location in Poland.

Today there are 470 employees based in offices across Poland, the UK, Croatia, Germany and the United States.

In 2019 Spyrosoft’s revenue grew by 124 percent to €16.6m

Now the business is set for further growth in the UK from its offices in Ferndown where nine staff are based.

Andrew is one of the UK’s most influential technology and innovation experts having previously helped to develop the IT leaders of the future at the Cranfield School of Management and advised the UK government on technology innovation in the heart of Whitehall.

He said: “Spyrosoft has become one of the fastest growing technology businesses in Europe providing technology consulting and design services, development of enterprise solutions and embedded software engineering.

“We are working at the cutting edge of software development, bringing clients’ ideas to life by recognising their problems and formulating effective and thorough solutions for the automotive, financial services, industry 4.0, geospatial, employee experience and education sectors.

“Spyrosoft has developed a winning formula that combines specialist market knowledge, superior technical expertise coupled with a flexible, transparent and pragmatic approach to delivering real technology outcomes.

“That’s just what clients want – recognition of the opportunities and constraints they face in their industry with a robust, economical and on-time solution.

“Following this flotation we are planning further growth and expansion, developing our presence in the UK and looking at other markets across the world where we believe we can make a difference.

“There is a huge focus for businesses to look for software-led innovation and efficiencies and Spyrosoft is right at the heart of this.”
