Restaurant converted to offices at former church let to architectal imagery business

First floor offices at the former methodist church in Westbourne have been successfully let by Goadsby.

A substantial refurbishment was carried out to convert a restaurant – called Plates & Co – to office accommodation of approximately 2,148 sq ft with an external garden area.

The refurbishment included new LED lighting, air conditioning, perimeter trunking and cabling and a new kitchen.

Bryony Solan, Business Space Manager, Goadsby Commercial, pictured right, said: “We were delighted to let the premises to Darcstudio Ltd.

“The premises offered unique office space with feature stained glass windows and high ceilings.

“We are very pleased that we were able to reach a satisfactory outcome for all parties.”

  • Acting on behalf of private investors, Goadsby Commercial has successfully negotiated the acquisition of 20 Branksome Business Centre, Cortry Close, Poole.

The unit extends to approximately 3,300 sq ft and the quoting price was £330,000.

James Edwards, of Goadsby Commercial, negotiated the acquisition for the two local investors and a letting of the unit has already been agreed.

Willis Commercial acted on behalf of the vendor.

  • Goadsby, acting on behalf of a private client, has completed the sale of garages at the back of 1 Didcot Road, Nuffield Industrial Estate, Poole.

The detached block of three lock-up garages extended to approximately 1,444 sq ft and had profile to Nuffield Road.

Goadsby invited offers in excess of £110,000 and, following a good level of interest,  agreed a sale to a private buyer.

Digital agency proves that ‘scaring is caring’ by donating to foodbank

A Poole digital agency put the care into ‘scare’ when it donated a bumber bundle of items to a local foodbank.

Not wanting to waste an opportunity to dress up, team members at b4b marketing donned their finest Halloween costumes this year.

But instead of buying sweets and treats for children in the area, they chose to donate more essential items to a foodbank.

Jessie Taylor, Content Marketing Manager,  who came up with the idea, said: “We love dressing up and welcoming trick or treaters to our doorsteps at this time of year.

“We still got into the spirit of the season, but also wanted to support our local community in a worthwhile way at a time when extra help is needed more than ever.

“You could say that we were doing the ‘fright’ thing!”

Founded in 2008, b4b marketing’s clients include Charles Trent, Trethowans, W&S Recycling, Carpet Barn & the Bed Store, Broadview, Cobham and Morrish Homes.
