Diverse Abilities, the Dorset disability charity, is set to hold a recruitment information day at the Dolphin Centre in Poole.

Between 11am and 2pm on Wednesday, 27th September, the charity’s recruitment team will meet with people considering a career in care, with opportunities to meet some of the adults supported by the charity.
Anna Moore, HR Administrator at Diverse Abilities commented: “We currently have opportunities in both our adults and children’s teams, with a variety of hours including part-time, full-time and nights.
“When you join Diverse Abilities you can expect lots of training, options to progress, and the chance to get out and about in the community. We are looking forward to meeting those interested, and answering any questions they have.”
The team will be in the ‘Gather’ space opposite Beales from 11am until 2pm on Wednesday 27th September.
Emma, who has been a support worker at Diverse Abilities for more than 20 years and is currently a Team Leader, added: “When I first joined Diverse Abilities, I hadn’t worked in care before, but I got stuck in and within six months I got the Team Leader role, and the rest is history.
“To see these people have fun, live their lives to the full, and progress every day is rewarding. I hope to be here as long as I possibly can!”
