“What an honour to be a finalist in the UK Business Woman of the Year awards.”

The words of Dawn Esther Rondeau after she was selected as one of 15 finalists in the National SME Business Awards.

The ceremony was held at Wembley Stadium last night, July 28.

In the event the title went elsewhere.

But Dawn, pictured left before the awards, said: “Whilst on this occasion I wasn’t the winner, it was an awesome experience to be celebrating with so many successful business owners at Wembley.

“Much like the Euros for England it went down to the wire, but I will never forget the feeling of being a national finalist.

“Thank you to all my clients, family, friends and well wishers for your support.”

After 14 years running her own Weymouth-based business consultancy – D52 Business Toolkit – Dawn was nominated in 2020 for the prestigious title.

Dawn is now the Chief Operating Officer of Weymouth Business Improvement District, also known as We Are Weymouth.

Due to Covid, she pivoted her business in 2020/21 to create online courses, allowing her time to have a more hands-on role with the BID.
